Next week it gets interesting

We are planning a trip next Friday, back to NYC. The difference this time is, we are bringing our embryo with us. We are picking him/her up from the current freezer and dropping him/her off to go in a new freezer. That’s basically it in a nutshell. For us it’s a little more stressful. We have to get up early and drive an hour and 15 minutes (or more if there’s traffic) to go to sign release forms and hopefully get the right embryo put in a tank that we have to rent for the day. Then drive like mad to the city and find parking. Walk, who knows how many blocks until we get to the new lab. I’m sure there will be more paper work there to fill out. Then drive the tank back to the old lab, so we don’t get charged extra days.
I can’t believe it’s fast approaching! May is it! The last try to be a mom. Today I did allow myself a little daydreaming about it. But only for a little while. Otherwise, it hurts too much. I was even thinking about finding a surrogate, but reality hit quickly. No normal person can afford a surrogate anyway.
Hopefully, we can go to IHOP while we’re out west on Friday, I love pancakes. The closest one is almost an hour away.
Maybe we should use FedEx?!

That is SO exciting! I’ll be on the edge of my seat! I’m sure you’re so excited that you’ve long left your proverbial “chair” teehee
